Four 250GB SATA drives striped into one 1TB volume. SATA III caps each drive near 550 MB/s read, so four of them have a theoretical ceiling around 2,200 MB/s and a real figure under it. The single 970 EVO Plus in this machine is faster on its own than the whole array.
