WHY WE CHOSE IT

"420mm of GPU clearance, and a top run that takes a 240mm radiator and still leaves a slot for a case fan. The glass front costs the intake a mesh case would give you, and the reverse-blade side pair is what replaces it."

The XR has a glass front and no front fan mount at all. Air comes in through the side, on two reverse-blade 120mm fans Montech ships with the case, and leaves through the rear. The top is a three-slot 120mm run, and that is where our 240mm radiator sits with one Montech 120mm beside it.

Silicon degradation manifests as instability at stock or mild voltages. Test the CPU by running OCCT CPU / Linpack at stock voltage; if errors occur within 10 minutes, the silicon has experienced degradation.
